Posted by CERV Team on

CERV in conjunction with Central Coast Children’s Foundation (CCCF) had a successful GO-BAGS FOR GRANDMAS training project at Kinship Center on to demonstrate new ways to help prepare relatives who are raising the children of family members get ready for emergencies. The two-hour training session helped heighten the participants’ awareness of the dangers, show them how to better prepare to both shelter in place and/or evacuate safely and rewarded each trainee with a “Go-Bag” (backpack) full of emergency supplies to keep in their homes. CERV and Central Coast Children’s Foundation are partnered with Kinship Center/Family Ties to provide the training. Watch the video to learn more.
